China Scaffold Manufacturer
Cuplock ledger is the horizontal member in cuplock scaffolding. It connects vertical standards, sets bay spacing, supports platform stability, and helps modular scaffolding structures keep reliable strength and efficient assembly on construction and industrial projects.
A properly designed cuplock scaffolding ledger provides modular bays with horizontal support for their assembly and safe access to work. In fully scaffolded systems, this member interconnects standards, enhances orientation, and supports rigidity in the structure through multiple project site shifts. This reliability provides contractors and distributors with the added advantage of faster installation time and uniform bay formation across varying project layouts.
Huilai offers practical cuplock ledger sizes to match different bay requirements and working layouts. The available range covers 0.60 m, 0.90 m, 1.20 m, 1.30 m, 1.80 m, and 2.50 m, giving buyers flexible options for both compact and wider-span assemblies. These cuplock scaffolding ledger sizes help customers plan platform spacing, access width, and material loading more efficiently in daily scaffolding applications.
Our cuplock ledger weight chart helps buyers compare self-finish and Hot Dipped Galvanized options more clearly. The 0.60 m size weighs 2.38 kg in self-finish and 2.52 kg in HDG, while the 2.50 m size reaches 9.14 kg and 9.69 kg, respectively. Mid-range options such as 0.90 m, 1.20 m, 1.30 m, and 1.80 m also provide clear weight differences, which help procurement teams balance corrosion protection, handling preference, and transport planning for cuplock scaffolding supply.
As a scaffolding supplier in China, Huilai supports importers, wholesalers, and contractors who need reliable ledger cuplock products together with broader scaffolding packages. Our cuplock ledger range fits complete scaffolding systems and works smoothly with verticals, transoms, and other components in cuplock scaffolding projects. You can send us your target length mix and finish requirement, and we will help match the right supply plan for your project.
| Length (m) | Self Finish Weight (kg) | Hot Dipped Galvanized Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|
| 0.60 | 2.38 | 2.52 |
| 0.90 | 3.44 | 3.65 |
| 1.20 | 4.51 | 4.78 |
| 1.30 | 4.87 | 5.16 |
| 1.80 | 6.65 | 7.05 |
| 2.50 | 9.14 | 9.69 |

PRODUCT FAQ
These answers are based on the product details, common RFQ questions, and export order requirements.
Final dimensions, finish, packing, and delivery terms should be confirmed before quotation.
Not always. In many Cuplock systems, the stated ledger length refers to the nominal bay spacing between standards, while the physical steel component is slightly shorter because the blade ends fit inside the cup joints. For replacement orders, do not measure only the overall end-to-end length. Send us the required bay size or an existing ledger drawing so both dimensions can be checked.
A typical Cuplock node is designed to accept horizontal members from multiple directions, and systems are commonly configured with up to four horizontals at one cup joint. This is what allows rectangular bays, corner connections, and multi-direction scaffold layouts to be formed around one standard. The final arrangement should still follow the scaffold system design.
A standard access ledger should not automatically be treated as a heavy-duty loading component. Loading bays may require strengthened ledgers, additional bearers, knee braces, or another designed support arrangement depending on the intended load. Cuplock system manuals distinguish standard horizontals from specially strengthened ledgers used for heavier working loads and loading-bay applications.
Do not assume that every component described as “Cuplock” will automatically fit another supplier’s system. The ledger blade profile, blade thickness, lower cup dimensions, top cup locking position, and nominal bay length should be checked. For replacement stock, photos and measurements of both the existing ledger end and standard cup joint are useful before production.
Not exactly. Both are horizontal members and may use similar blade-end connections, but they normally perform different jobs in the scaffold. Ledgers run along the scaffold and establish the bay length, while transoms run across the bay and commonly support the working platform. Some Cuplock components can be used in more than one position, but this should be confirmed from the specific system layout rather than assumed.
In Cuplock access scaffold configurations, horizontal members can form guardrails when they are installed at the required positions as part of the approved scaffold arrangement. However, simply installing a ledger does not by itself make the edge protection compliant. Guardrail height, intermediate protection, toe boards, platform layout, and local safety requirements still need to be considered.
