This pin can be made from mild steel, Q235, or Q345 steel. Q235 works well for common project stock. Q345 gives buyers a stronger material option when the pins will face repeated rental-yard handling, transport, stacking, and rough site use.

Unit weight is usually around 0.5–0.7kg, depending on length, wall thickness, and hole design. Surface treatment can be painted, electro galvanized, or hot dip galvanized. Painted finish can suit short-cycle projects, while a hot-dip galvanized finish is better for outdoor storage, humid yards, sea freight, and long-term scaffolding parts supply.

For small items like scaffolding pins, the finish is not just for appearance. Rust around the hole or tube end can make pins harder to insert and remove after repeated use.

What Buyers Should Confirm Before Ordering

Before ordering bulk scaffolding spigot pin stock, buyers should confirm the outer diameter, total length, wall thickness, hole size, hole position, material grade, surface finish, and locking accessory.

Packing can be arranged by woven bag, carton, or steel pallet. For contractors and importers, clean packing matters because pins are small, easy to mix, and often shipped together with standards, ledgers, braces, couplers, and other scaffolding parts.

A good spigot pin should not create extra work on-site. It should fit the standard, align the vertical joint, accept the locking pin, and stay consistent from one batch to the next.
