Depending on the system, it may use a reinforced or truss-type design rather than a single ledger tube.
Can scaffold planks or decks sit directly on a U-transom bridge ledger?
Yes, when the bridge ledger and deck are designed as a matching U-type system. The deck hook or claw profile, platform width, ledger length, and lift-off arrangement should all be checked before ordering. If you are matching an existing Ringlock system, send the deck dimensions and hook details together with the bridge ledger specification.
