This Middle East order came from an existing customer.
Before this shipment, the customer had already purchased scaffolding tubes from HUILAI for an overseas project. After receiving the tubes, they came back to us for the matching scaffolding couplers. The new order was not only about buying another product. The customer had already received the scaffold tubes from us.
This time, they came back for the matching scaffolding couplers. They did not want to source the couplers separately and recheck the fit from the beginning. The couplers had to work with the same 48.3mm tube system they were using for power plant scaffolding.
For this follow-up order, we matched the customer’s tube system with 48.3×48.3mm scaffolding couplers made from Q355 steel.
The couplers were left for the Middle East in September 2025.

Why the Customer Came Back for Couplers
The customer first worked with us on scaffolding tubes.
After that order, they needed couplers to build the matching scaffold connection system. Since the tubes and couplers had to work together on site, they preferred not to restart the whole supplier search from zero.
For this order, the key point was fit.
The customer needed 48.3×48.3mm scaffolding couplers to match the scaffold tubes used in their maintenance work. We did not treat this as a separate coupler order.
We started with the 48.3mm tube size from the customer’s last order.
After that, we checked which coupler connection would fit, what Q355 material they needed, how the surface should be finished, and how soon the goods had to leave.
Product Details for Power Plant Maintenance
This order covered 48.3×48.3mm scaffolding couplers in Q355 steel.
The customer planned to use them with the scaffold tubes they had already received from us. For power plant maintenance, that fit mattered. Workers may need to build access around pipes, equipment, and existing platforms, so the couplers had to lock onto the 48.3 mm tube cleanly.
Before loading, we checked the couplers against 48.3mm scaffold tube samples.
The photos covered the coupler body, bolts, nuts, surface finish, and the way the couplers closed on the tube. We sent these close-up photos to the customer before the goods moved to loading.
Packing and Shipment
The couplers were packed in bags and stacked on wooden pallets.
Before loading, we checked the pallet base and the bag arrangement. Couplers look small piece by piece, but the weight adds up quickly once they are packed by pallet. The last pallets went into the container by forklift.
We took the loading photos at the container door and shared them with the customer. The container was shipped to the Middle East in September 2025.
What This Order Shows
This order came after the customer bought scaffold tubes from us.
For this type of follow-up order, we need to check the tube diameter first. Then we look at the coupler type, material grade, surface finish, packing, quantity, and delivery time.
When these points are clear at the beginning, the factory can match the couplers with the tube order before production. It also leaves fewer questions when the goods are close to loading.
